Covid-19 Responses for Equity (CORE) is a three-year, CA$25-million rapid research initiative that brings together 20 new research projects to understand the socio-economic impacts of the pandemic, improve existing responses, and generate better policy options for recovery.

The research portfolio is funded and overseen by IDRC, supported by a Steering Committee of  research partners and other IDRC stakeholders to guide the evolution of the programme.

Partners and projects

The research is taking place across 42 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. You can learn more about the projects and partners involved in CORE on the link below.

The Institute of Development Studies (IDS) supports IDRC and the research partners to maximise the learning generated across the research portfolio and deepen engagement with governments, civil society and the scientific community.
